Decorate your own creamy clay cake candle holder with artist Naru Kubota.
Service Description
In this playful workshop, you will be hosted by artist Naru Kubota to decorate your own unique candle holder/ vase / plate sculpture - good enough to eat! Using cake decorating techniques, Naru will guide you to pipe stoneware clay onto your own candle holder / vase base . You will practice ways to achieve delicious textures, ribbons, layers and patterns and apply them to your piece. You will have a choice of pink, blue or white coloured pre-made bases to decorate. After class, your creamy dreamy pieces will be glazed and fired for you, ready to collect at Shell Space within 3 - 4 weeks. Light snacks and tea provided.
